Its been a few crazy days of partying. Basically, because it only gets dark around 10 at night, the parties only really get going after midnight. So, after getting something to eat around 9 or 10 at night, we start off on the kalimotxo - the traditional drink here consisting of red wine and coke mixed. From the supermarket, a 2 litre coke costs about 50c and a 1 litre box wine about 25c which works out to about a euro or two each for one crazy night. Nice. As I was saying, after finishing our drinks - we head out into town about 1 or 2 in the morning and party the night away (at pubs, clubs, in the streets, the beaches) until 7 or 8 where we come home and sleep (on the kitchen floor) until lunch time. From there we head off to the beach until about 9 where the next night's party starts all over again. Its crazy here, I wont lie, but having one awesome time here so far.

Theres a small island off the coast line here, called Isla Santa Clara, which you can get to by boat. We decided to go across there yesterday afternoon and lie on the beach for a while and walk around the island.

With the weather being so hot here (sorry everyone back home, dont mean to rub it in) - we had a really awesome afternoon there, lying in the sun, floating around in the water, strolling around the island, etc. Oh, and the majority of Spanish women have this obsession with tanning topless... its great. Just thought I had to add that in here.

Last night was the world cup final, and since Giulz is Italian - he went completely crazy after Italy won. And the rest of us all joined in the party - was more fun to party it up than stick with (French) people who were all still sulking!

There was a lot of kalimotxo drank, a lot of Absinthe and a lot of chocolate-inferno shots. These chocolate-inferno shots are the best things ever. Firstly, its a really spicy shot, they add tobasco to the alcohol, but they serve the shooter in a little chocolate shooter glass. So after taking the shot, having it burn your throat, you get to eat the chocolate afterwards. Makes the shooter go down a lot easier :) And there were plenty of those drank last night.

Some Night Out

After a lot of pub hopping, shouting, drinking and laughing at the French supporters, we got home this morning and slept til this afternoon to prepare ourselves for tonight... San Fermin and the running of the bulls party. Oh man, gonna be great!
