What was meant to be an easy, relaxed cycle today, turned out into this crazy, 5-hour cycle around Putney, Richmond, Teddington and neighbouring areas. Haig and I met up with Chris and then headed out first around Kingston, then to Richmond Park, then along the Richmond Towpath which took us past the Teddington locks, stopping at Steins for lunch - a nice little German restaurant alongside the Thames.

Not being used to this sort of exercise, I know my legs are going to hate me for the next few days - but we'll deal with that tomorrow. Really had an awesome day cycling today, can't wait til I'm more fit and can start cycling further as well as to and from work. But that's not gonna happen anytime soon.
