Last week Wednesday evening it was Marty's farewell drinks which he had organised at Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch. So after work I headed over there and met up with him and all the other usual faces for drinks down the back in the Airstream which he had hired out. Was good to see a few of the old familiar ex-Quidco faces and good catch up with everyone again before finishing up and making my way home via Clapham Junction :(

On Thursday it was initially planned for an after work drinks and curry night, but after a couple of drinks at The Fence, everyone seemed to make their way home and only three of us were left, but that didn't stop us going in search of a curry house in the area. After the first one was closed, we came across Cafe Tiffin which was good and after a decent curry there we called it a night and headed home.

After a couple of nights out on the trot, I was quite happy for a quiet night in on Friday. Then on Saturday morning, Uns, myself and Ellen made our way into Peckham for brunch at Coal Rooms, followed by a few things from the high street and then back home. After Ellen's nap we made our way into Soho for the Ronnie Scott's 60th birthday street party which they were hosting. As expected it was super busy but we found ourselves a spot down the back from the main event and chilled out there with Ellen. She seemed to have a great time wandering around and being social, while we could kind of hear the music but soaked up the atmosphere. We stayed there for a good bit of the afternoon before heading back home.

Yesterday morning we took a drive over towards Earlsfield, first stopping off at Wandsworth Common for a bit of time on the playground. After a some play time and a coffee for myself and Uns, we then stopped in at Oli & Stacey's place to drop off their baby shower gift before heading back home.

The rest of yesterday was just at home, and I spent a bit of it setting up the PedalPro rollers which Una Ellen had gotten me for Father's Day. So hopefully now that those are ready to use, I can get back on the bike a bit in the evenings and try pick up a bit of fitness again :)
